WHAT’S INCLUDED?
There are eight organizers that can be used with ANY text, and then those organizers have been used with some of my favorite informational texts about animals as well to give you ideas of how to use them. (Answer keys are provided.)

Activities cover skills such as:
asking and answering questions about a text
retelling key details
supporting the main idea
describing connections between two animals
determining the meaning of words
using text features
using illustrations to find information
telling author’s purpose with proof
supporting author’s reasoning
compare and contrast texts
There is also a writing prompt for each book that ties to the topic of the book.
