Five For Friday …including a BIG announcement!

Here we go with Doodle Bugs Five For Friday! It’s a {little} later than usual, but I made it on Friday at least! :o)

I got my new sofa! YIPPEE!!

Ignore the mess, and the old couch on the wall in the background. It will be taken away tomorrow! I LOVE the chaise the best…

We were able to “play TAG” in our writing this week! The kids did an EXCELLENT job!! (If you missed Tuesday’s post, read more about it here!)

We worked on inferences some more this week, and we used Mandy Lopez’s Making Inferences Task Cards and played SCOOT with them- my kids LOVED it! They asked if we could play SCOOT every week. I told them maybe… (which means yes!) hee hee!

I have about 3 weeks left to get my Donors Choose Project funded for Class Sets of Extended Texts… and my BBB Catherine over at Brown Bag Teacher donated and TOTALLY made my day! This week was not an easy week, despite it being a four-day-week, and I was in a sour mood when I got home today… then I got this:

…and it just really brightened my day! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the blogging community ROCKS at sharing, and most of all, SUPPORTING each other! :o)
